♥ history at hogwarts and before.
Tracey was named after her auntie Tracey Rose Davis I, who is the only other known witch or wizard in the Norris-Davis family. She's never met her father's baby sister and only just recently learned of their connection through her grandmother. Tracey the first was always a bit off an oddball but Alphard and his mother were still very fond of her. The youngest Tracey has been in on-and-off contact with her auntie via owl post. She plans on finally meeting her dragon-obsessed aunt this summer and traveling with her while she works on her book.

Tracey's parents were always on the road with their jobs so she was forced into being raised by her grandmother (and her elderly female room mate Doris). She has lots of love for her grandmum, but it was terribly hard attending a Muggle primary school where her peers never saw her mum and dad. She was teased often by the girls in her classing for not having a mum that was on the verge of death. No one believed that she had real parents except for her teachers, who did very little to stop the bullying. She was alone for the most part while she was there, having very few friends that were allowed to visit after school. Her grandmother lived in a senior citizen community so naturally there were not many kids Tracey's age to play with. She was terribly lonely but knew that things would be much better for her when she turned eleven.

Tracey Rose Davis II was sorted into Slytherin house in September of 1991. Attending Hogwarts was difficult for her at first since she really did have much interaction with other witches and wizards growing up. It took her awhile to make friends with her first year house mates, but when she did, things started to brighten. She became fascinated with all her subjects and made a hobby of reading her school books after dinner. She had been completely shut out of the wizarding world her whole life and was now being thrown into it. She quickly became familiar with everything involving the wizarding world and finally felt like she was fitting in.

The next couple of years at Hogwarts were the same to Tracey as everyone else. She had her small group of friends and was doing well in school. Things started to go downhill for Tracey during her fourth year. Now that she was a teenager and was starting to see what kind of woman she was developing into, she noticed that she was starting to have to hide from her friends the things she was feeling deep inside. She was slowly growing apart from her friends and it terrified her. Not having a person that she completely trusted to confide her secrets to, Tracey has been questioning why she was put into Slytherin house. The group of Slytherin girls she was part of all seemed to be strong and ambitious, witches who were afraid to do whatever it took to get what they wanted. That wasn't Tracey; she didn't have that kind of confidence. The fourth year Slytherin became very lonely and started searching to see if there was a house mate with a similar dilemma. Someone she could talk to and find a way to turn herself into the perfect little Slytherin girl. She hasn't found that person yet.

♥ appearance.
Tracey Davis is a tiny, tiny witch. It's not that she's thin or completely underweight for her size, she stands only 5'1" tall. She was born prematurely with small and brittle bones. Luckily, the Slytherin grew up healthy without any major problems because of her birth, but she stopped growing at the age of 10 and is afraid that she will be stuck at this horrible height for the rest of her life. Tracey always hoped that she would someday be tall and thin like her mother and grandmother but has now come to accept that it probably won't happen — naturally.

With the exception of her stunted height, Tracey Rose looks exactly like her mother. They both have bony facial features and strawberry blond hair. During the dark winter months her hair is a vibrant shade of red. In the spring and summer months it lightens dramatically due to the sun is much more blond. This is Tracey's favourite feature. The fifth year has fair complexion and big green eyes.

♥ personality.
Tracey's parents show a great deal or warmth and love toward her.. when they are actually around to see her. When she's home from Hogwarts, she sees them around two weeks out of the month, then goes back to her grandmother's home in Brighton. She's hurt that her parent's choose to keep their current careers after she was born knowing that they'd be away from her a lot. Tracey works hard to keep these feelings from showing around them and her grandmother, but no one can keep these things together all of the time. The Slytherin confides in her ring of close friends and they know that there's a lot of anger and jealousy toward them. Tracey's decided that when the timing is right she's going to confess these feelings to her parents and have them make the decision between her and their jobs. She's come to realize that their abandonment is the main cause of her self-esteem issues and feels it's unhealthy for her to continue living without telling her mother and father what it's doing to her.

Tracey Rose is a shy girl who has always had problems making new friends. Her Muggle-born parents were working professionals who spent a lot of time on the road. She spent a lot of time with her grandmother and was embarrassed because the kids in her primary school thought she was odd and liked hanging out with "old farts". She's the type of girl that doesn't have a large group of friends, but the ones he has are very important to her.

If you have the chance to break through her shell, you'll see that Tracey's extremely loyal and honest. She may not be the best choice of person to have your back in a fight because she's afraid of confrontation (which is very strange for someone in Slytherin house), but inside she wishes she there was a way to get past that and be a more courageous person. She has several goals to overcome her weakness with people and be a more like her house mates. She's often wondered why the Sorting Hat chose to put her in Salazar's house because she doesn't feel she's as strong as her friends when it comes to getting what she wants.
